Out with the old and in with the New Year

I just received this beautiful quote in an email:

“For last year’s words belong to last year’s language and next year’s words await another voice. And to make an end is to make a beginning.”
T. S. Eliot

Tomorrow is the last day of 2008.

Today, I am thankful for all of the people, places and experiences, triumphs and disappointments that make me — me.

On December 31st at the strike of midnight, I can theoretically wipe the slate clean and welcome the New Year with open arms. I can look forward to a brand new year of new adventures, new people, wonderful memories, and those humbling mistakes that remind me that i’m human.

Here’s a toast to a New Year, a positive outlook and a brighter future for all of us.
